About us and your job role
Multichannel TV is a fast expanding company based in Shoreditch and a really great place to work. Just phone up and ask a random member of staff if you don't believe us! Alternatively, have a look through our website.
We create, deploy and promote Internet TV programmes and podcasts for our blue-chip set of clients. All programmes are delivered our unique suite of interfaces developed in-house.
The job role is to design graphics, animation and user interfaces as well as adding creative elements to the Internet TV programmes themselves.
What you will be interested in: -
You will be passionate about graphic design, animation and film. Yes all three…. we are a bit greedy like that, since it’s a pretty diverse role you will be doing.
Stuff you have in your kitbag
A design, animation or film based degree plus you will like enjoy using packages such as Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator,Premiere/Final Cut Pro, and After Effects. Having a good portfolio of work to show us doesn’t half help your cause too!
What you think we may need but don’t!
We are not looking for technical web designers (html, css, php etc) per say, we have that already. All you need to know is a working knowledge of how to design elegantly for the web and how things can be designed for cross platform scalability and accessibility.
Stuff we would ideally like
Interests in audio visual projects outside work is highly desirable such as art, photography, video or music making.. Juggling does go down well too (only joking!) We like problem solvers, be a team player and want to work in an ever growing and dynamic team that faces new challenges every day.
Skills required
A good knowledge of the following software applications is required: -
- Adobe Flash
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro
